LDSS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Program Manager to support the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO), Maintenance Systems Program Management Office (PMO), in Miamisburg, Ohio. The position requires onsite support at the F-35 JPO location on Springboro Pike in Miamisburg, Ohio, no less than two days per week. This role provides acquisition program management support across the full acquisition lifecycle, including modernization, production, sustainment, and product support planning for the F-35’s logistics information systems, including the Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN).
ODIN supports the F-35 mission cycle through planning, sortie generation and recovery, maintenance management, and supply chain management. The Senior Acquisition Program Manager will assist the Maintenance Systems PMO in developing, demonstrating, producing, fielding, and sustaining modernized F-35 maintenance and logistics information systems. A successful candidate will bring strong acquisition, program management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to identify challenges, mitigate risk, support decision-making, and maintain focus in a dynamic program environment.
- Support the Maintenance Systems PMO in acquisition planning and execution across modernization, production, sustainment, and product support activities.
- Develop and support acquisition documentation, including acquisition strategies, requests for proposal, requests for information, performance work statements, statements of work, project schedules, and related program materials.
- Lead and conduct technical evaluation of proposals and contribute to analysis of costs.
- Support requirements development, market research, proposal evaluation, and contract negotiation activities.
- Conduct program management activities such as gathering and analyzing program information, developing program strategies, supporting milestone planning, tracking schedules, identifying discrepancies, recommending corrective actions, and monitoring issues through completion.
- Support cost, schedule, performance, and risk management for cradle-to-grave program execution.
- Review contractor deliverables and work products for compliance with requirements and provide recommendations to government program leadership.
- Develop briefing materials, presentations, position papers, analyses, and status updates for senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Track, manage, and support deliverables development, submission, and activity status reporting.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, translating mission and business needs into software requirements, user stories, and actionable program objectives.
