Estimating Co-op

The Estimating Co-op will gain hands-on experience in the preconstruction process by supporting our Estimating team on a variety of construction projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with bid solicitation efforts and subcontractor/vendor selection.
• Manage bid documents, including downloading, uploading, printing, and compiling initial bid packages and addenda.
• Develop, track, and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Review and analyze construction drawings and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Assist in developing labor, material, and equipment cost estimates for self-performed work.
• Support the preparation of final pricing, proposals, and project specifications.
• Compile and maintain historical cost and project data for estimating and tracking purposes.

Location: Dayton, Ohio

• Currently enrolled in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related degree program.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
