Job Summary :
As a commercial construction superintendent, you must have the ability to lead your team in completing the job at hand while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site. Superintendents are working superintendents and train both carpenters and labors, as well managing and directing the subcontractors on the job. Being able to control costs that impact the job, identifying and resolving issues before it affects the cost and timeline of the job are big tasks of a superintendent.
Superintendents must be able to manage schedules, complete daily logs, and inspection reports, all while reporting directly to the project manager over the job.
- HS diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 Years of experience
- Be able to perform all hands-on construction tasks.
- Able to read and fully understand drawings including architectural, as-builts, and specifications.
- Trained and proficient in all aspects of OSHA rules and regulations.
- Possess knowledge and understanding of all construction methods in order to bring buildings out of the ground to completion.
- Able to manage manpower and work efficiently.
- Leadership experience
- Possess Procore knowledge and be able to use it efficiently
