HIRING BILINGUAL SALES ASSOCIATE

DAYTON, OHIO

Sales associates are the primary customer‑facing personnel who provide fast, efficient, and professional service while accurately managing transactions. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while accurately managing transactions such as wires, check cashing, loans, money orders, bill payments, top‑ups, lottery tickets, and online sales. The Sales Associate is responsible for handling and balancing cash drawers, maintaining confidentiality of customer information, and ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.

Additionally, this position identifies cross‑selling opportunities, provides prompt and professional assistance with customer inquiries, and proactively enhances the company’s acceptance and branding in the market.

Key Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must speak Spanish fluently and have at least basic English communication skills.
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Detail oriented, especially when reading, writing, and counting numbers and currency.

Key Responsibilities Transaction Processing

Wires, cash checks, loans, and sell various company products such as money orders, bill payments, lottery tickets, online sales, top‑ups and reloads.

Customer Service

Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate solutions for their needs.

Cash Management

At the end of each shift associate must count and balance cash drawers, verify balance with the system, and handle cash responsibly to prevent errors and maintain accuracy. Process deposits from and to the bank. Handle cash received and disbursements by agents.

Cross‑Selling

Identify and recommend additional company products and services that meet customer needs, focusing on meeting goals. Use available company materials (flyers or prizes) to promote and offer the company's products.

Compliance & Security

Comply with company, state and federal policies and regulations, maintain client confidentiality and identify and report any inappropriate or suspicious activity.

Record Keeping

Keep track of all shift transactions and other relevant information using the company’s systems or procedures.

Marketing & Promotion

Support company marketing initiatives when required, such as distributing flyers, sharing promotional materials with customers, or assisting with in‑store and out‑of‑store campaigns, always ensuring professionalism and alignment with company branding.

Other Tasks

Other tasks of a similar nature, scope, or level of responsibility as assigned by Management (e.g., assisting with in‑store and out‑of‑store promotions, supporting marketing initiatives, or helping with operational improvements).

Physical Demands

Frequent sitting and operating of computers, phone, calculator. Hand manipulation—use of hands to grab, organize, turn things (20% to 50% of the time). Observing, listening, and talking to customers and coworkers (70% of the time). Sitting 80% of the time. Standing/Walking 1% to 20% of the time. Inclined/Bending 1% to 20% of the time. Standing and/or carrying items up to 20 lbs (1% to 5% of the time).

Pushing/Pulling up to 20 lbs (1% to 5% of the time). Extended sitting hours. Observing and listening. Cleaning and organizing as needed. Capture data 20% to 35% of the time.
