Position Overview
Under the direction of the Visitation Supervisor, provides front desk coverage at the Visitation Cottage: welcomes, registers and directs visitors to the visiting rooms.
Summary ofJob Duties
Maintains and organizes the reservation book for visitation rooms; accounts for all persons visiting cottage in the evenings. Insures all visitors sign in on log and maintains other logs as needed. Receives requests (phone or written) for visitation room reservations. Provides visitors with Cottage rules, and reviews these with visitors as necessary. Identifies any problem visitors to casework staff. Assists in providing appropriate toys for families to use during visits.
Answers phones and takes messages for staff and/or visitors in cottage. Transports as needed (emergency basis).
High school diploma or GED and one year experience in general office procedures. Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Benefits include Sick Leave accrued at 4.6 hours for every eighty 80 hours in active pay status. Seasonal employees scheduled to work 40 hours during their period of employment will accrue vacation in the same manner as regular full-time employees and can use their vacation after completion of twenty-six (26) bi-weekly pay periods in active pay status. Part-time Seasonal employees (scheduled to work less than 40 hours) do not accrue vacation.
Intermittent and Temporary Employees:
