Automotive Service Cashier

Voss Chevrolet is looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Service Cashier to join our Service Department! This position is an important part of creating a positive experience for our customers as they complete their service visit.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable handling payments and money, and enjoys working with people. Automotive experience is helpful but not required-we're willing to train the right person!

Hours worked will be afternoons to evenings, with some Saturdays.

Afternoons 12 pm - evenings 6 pm

Saturdays 8 am - 1 pm

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment
• Prepare and present customer invoices and receipts
• Collect payment for completed service and repair orders
• Answer basic customer questions regarding invoices and payments
• Assist Service Advisors and other Service Department staff as needed
• Maintain an organized and professional cashier area
• Balance cash drawer and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
• Handle customer information and financial transactions with confidentiality
• Assist with phone calls and general administrative duties
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the customer's visit
• Perform other duties as assigned

Previous cashier, receptionist, customer service, or dealership experience preferred

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Comfortable handling cash and processing payments

Basic computer skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Reliable and dependable

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required

Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
