• Compensation: $24–$30/hr, depending on experience.

Dayton Dental Assistant School is hiring a Part‑time Dental Assistant Instructor for our ongoing 12‑week hands‑on clinical training programs.

• Demonstrate chairside procedures and clinical techniques
• Teach radiology fundamentals and safety protocols
• Coach students during hands‑on lab practice
• Provide performance feedback and skills assessments
• Maintain infection control and classroom safety standards
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment

Dental assistants — DA, RDA or EFDA — with a desire to practice during the week while stepping into a mentorship role on Saturdays and a commitment to making an impact beyond the chair.

• 5+ years of dental assisting or chairside experience
• Active Radiology Certification
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communicator: able to explain clinical procedures clearly to learners with no prior experience
• Able to commute to location(s)

Nice-to-haves:

• Prior teaching or mentoring experience
• Familiarity with Dentrix
• Leadership background
