Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a full-time portable dental assistant!

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team. This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Dayton, OH area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

This position will be a fall start with an August start date.

• Hourly rate $27.00 per hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
• No weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card

• Active Ohio X-ray License required
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required
• 1 year dental assistant experience preferred
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of the company van, all of which remain in your possession at all times
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school
• Perform various administrative duties as needed
