Full‑Time Portable Dental Assistant

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full‑Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team. This position is five days per week (Monday–Friday, during school hours) and is based out of the Dayton, OH area within a 2‑hour radius. The role involves providing portable dental services to children at local schools and will begin in August.

• Hourly rate $27.00 per hour for clinic work and drive time
• No weekend hours

• Company vehicle provided with a gas and maintenance card

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies; responsible for maintenance of company van, which remains in your possession at all times.
• Assist dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school and perform chairside procedures as needed.
• Load/unload and set up the dental operatory inside the school.
• Perform various administrative duties.

• Active Ohio X‑ray license.
• Current CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• Will travel within a 2‑hour radius.

• One year of dental assistant experience.
