The Premier Physician Network (PPN) Clinical Neuroscience Institute, in collaboration with Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician with fellowship training in Stroke/Vascular Neurology. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic interest and a commitment to teaching and training fellows in our Vascular Neurology Fellowship program. This full-time position offers the opportunity to engage in clinical practice, education, and research within a supportive and dynamic academic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Practice: Provide comprehensive care for stroke patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings in a leading Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Education: Actively participate in the teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students. Deliver lectures and contribute to the academic development of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship.
- Research: Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of headache disorders. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement research projects, with opportunities to present and publish findings.
The Vascular Neurology Fellowship offers an immersive experience in a leading Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Fellows gain hands‑on experience in a state‑of‑the‑art facility with access to advanced Neurointerventional services and a robust Telestroke network, preparing them to excel in the dynamic field of vascular neurology. Fellows gain extensive clinical exposure, advanced procedural skills, and research opportunities, all within a supportive academic environment.
The program emphasizes leadership in teaching and mentorship, preparing physicians to excel in both clinical and academic settings.
The Clinical Neuroscience Institute (CNSI) is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary neuroscience program that offers total neurologic care for patients and their families in Southwestern Ohio. As part of Premier Health, CNSI provides access to a wide range of specialized services and a collaborative environment for healthcare professionals. We are home to the Dayton area’s only Comprehensive Stroke Center, as awarded by The Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.
In this role, you will be part of both Premier Health and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine.
