The Associate Dean of Business and Public Services will have primary responsibility over the Integrated Technology Education Center (ITEC), providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for Sinclair's next-generation model of technology-integrated learning.

The ITEC is not a single building, it is a campus-wide philosophy and regional innovation hub that unites across disciplines through hands-on, interdisciplinary education. The Associate Dean leads planning, implementation, and operation of the ITEC, ensuring graduates are technically capable, digitally fluent, and workforce resilient in environments where physical and digital systems intersect.

Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners, the Associate Dean enables the integration of emerging technologies into academic programs while advancing Sinclair's regional workforce impact.

The salary for this position begins at $84,109.00 and is commensurate with education and experience.

Principal Accountabilities

The Associate Dean does not supervise faculty instructional assignments but serves as a coordinating and enabling leader, supporting faculty, chairs, deans, and departments in the integration of technology into curriculum and learning environments.

* Lead the implementation of Sinclair's integrated technology approach, aligning ITEC strategy with the College's strategic plan and workforce development priorities

* Collaborate with and co-chair the ITEC Steering Committee, guiding planning, governance, and decision-making across interdisciplinary work streams

* Oversee execution of the ITEC roadmap, including milestones for facility design, staffing, curriculum development, technology integration, and funding readiness

* Establish and maintain a systems-thinking framework that connects academic programming, space design, and technology deployment

* Serve as the institutional liaison to senior leadership, state agencies, and industry partners, representing Sinclair's innovation capacity in local and national forums

Program and Curriculum Integration

* Partner with Deans, Chairs, and faculty to embed digital literacy, cybersecurity awareness, and emerging technology competencies across all disciplines

* Collaborate with academic divisions on the design of interdisciplinary, stackable credential pathways that allow students multiple entry and exit points into the workforce and continued education

* Collaborate with faculty and industry advisors to design experiential learning zones (e.g., Smart Factory, AI & Data Center, Secure Operations Command Center, Makerspace).

* Coordinate and support faculty professional development to enhance teaching and learning in connected environments, ensuring continuous innovation in program delivery

* Integration of building operations into programming and curriculum.

Industry and Workforce Collaboration

* Lead the development of structured employer engagement pipelines that include advisory councils, co-investment agreements, and co-designed training solutions

* Host quarterly employer engagement forums to gather input on curriculum, equipment needs, and emerging technologies

* Build long-term partnerships with regional employers, K-12 districts, apprenticeship programs, and workforce boards to strengthen talent pipelines

* Promote customized workforce training and non-credit programming to meet immediate industry needs and support regional reskilling initiatives

Operational Management

* Manage ITEC operations, including facilities management, scheduling, and staffing

* Develop, manage, and maintain operational budget and resource allocation

* Serve as the primary accountability lead for all ITEC work streams (Facilities, Program Architecture, Technology Integration, Marketing & Outreach, Partnership Development, and Funding & Sustainability)
