Job Summary
: WSU's University Honors Program is accepting applications for adjunct instructors for the Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 academic year. Individuals with academic and performance qualifications are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree and at least 1 year of professional or teaching experience or equivalent.
- Applicant must possess an academic degree one level above the level at which they will teach, except in programs for terminal degrees or when equivalent experience is established. In terminal degree programs, adjunct faculty must possess the same level of degree.
- If teaching outside the field of their advanced degree, adjuncts must have completed at least 18 graduate‑level credit hours of instruction in the field where they teach.
- Evidence of dedication to student success.
Preferred Qualifications
:
Ph.D. with at least 3 years of professional or teaching experience.
Essential Functions and Percent of Time
:
Honors advising and academic engagement – 100%.
