Position:
Educational Assistant at the Future Self Center (FSC) located at Montgomery County ESC Learning Center North, Dayton, Ohio.

• Support the restorative model, participating in daily circle discussions to set intentions and reflect on growth.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of individualized learning plans and targeted academic support.
• Facilitate hands‑on learning in Maker Spaces and provide career‑readiness activities using tools such as interest inventories and skill development activities.
• Help students build community, engage in high‑school credit recovery, and attend fieldwork and community engagement projects.

Duty days vary; start dates are July 27, 2026 or September 8, 2026. The role includes 7 hour days and a 196‑day contract (approximately 4 months).

Salary: $20.11 – $25.88 per hour. Job required to work at the Learning Future Self Center in Dayton, Ohio.

• Experience working with students who are at risk of falling behind in traditional settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with students, families, and home districts.
• Committed to restorative practices and supporting student voice and choice.
• Relevant education or experience in instructional support, paraprofessional, or IA roles.
• Ability to work flexibly with varying duty days.
