Job Title: Special Education Paraprofessional (Grades 5-8)
Location: Tri-County North Middle School

Job Summary:
Tri-County North Middle School (PCESC) is seeking dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Paraprofessionals to join our middle school team (Grades 5-8). In this role, you will work closely with general education and special education teachers to provide vital support to students who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and require specialized services. The ideal candidate is punctual, highly adaptable, and passionate about helping all students succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to students on IEPs in both one-on-one and small group settings, ensuring their specialized needs are met.
- Teacher Collaboration: Work cooperatively with and be highly accommodating to regular classroom teachers and special education staff to implement lesson plans and classroom management strategies.
- Testing Assistance: Assist teachers with the administration of classroom and state testing, ensuring that all required student accommodations are properly provided.
- Supervisory Duties: Actively monitor and supervise students during designated recess and lunch periods according to the daily schedule, maintaining a safe and positive environment.
- Professionalism & Punctuality: Arrive on time daily, maintain consistent attendance, and uphold a high standard of professionalism in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or paraprofessional certification preferred).
- Prior experience working with middle school-aged children or students with special needs is a plus.
Compensation shall be $121.00 per day worked
Successful candidates will report to TCN Administration
