Job SummaryTo educate doctoral students in clinical psychology; to participate in service, scholarship, and teaching activities consistent with the mission of WSU and SOPP.
Minimum Qualifications- Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited institution.
- Demonstrated ability to teach practitioner students.
- Licensed in Ohio as a psychologist or able to acquire licensure within one year of appointment (except for the Clinical Professor level).
- Broad commitment to the practitioner model of professional education.
- For Clinical Associate level: documented evidence of sustained and high‑quality activity in at least one of scholarship, teaching, or service, recognized by others in the field at the regional or national level, and effective in the other two areas.
- For Clinical Professor level: licensed in Ohio within six months of appointment; documented evidence of sustained, superior quality activity in at least one of scholarly, teaching, or service, recognized at the national or international level, and effective in the other areas.
- Licensure in Ohio at the time of hire.
- Completion of an APA accredited internship or equivalent.
- Clinical practice, teaching, and/or scholarship in areas such as diversity/equity/inclusion, child/adolescent/family psychology, forensics, neuropsychology, statistics/research methods, or psychopharmacology.
- Administrative experience in key roles (e.g., committee chair, associate director of clinical training).
- Director of Psychological Assessment Services (PAS) – 12‑month full‑time faculty position with administration, clinical supervision, teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities.
- Director of Clinical Training – 12‑month full‑time faculty position with administration, teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities.
- (40%) Teaching and dissertations
- (20%) Service, advising, and committee work

- (20%) Practice and program development
General office and higher education classroom environments. This is a special contract position with special contract terms and conditions of employment applying.
