Certification RequirementsAll applicants must possess a valid Ohio Certificate/License in the appropriate areas and be eligible for a valid Ohio educator license or certificate for the appropriate grade level and content area(s) of instruction.
Science of ReadingBeavercreek City Schools is committed to meeting the requirements of the State of Ohio as outlined in Ohio Revised Code requiring districts to use the science of reading for literacy instruction. “Science of Reading” is defined in the law as an interdisciplinary body of scientific evidence that informs how students learn to read and write proficiently. Any employees new to the district will be guided on what professional development to complete based on your teaching assignment and a timeline for completion.

Bachelor’s Degree: $46,552 to $70,936 based on prior teacher verification, experience, and training.
Master’s Degree: $52,571 to $85,963 based on prior teacher verification, experience and training.
