Position: Child Care Aide (As Needed)

Child Care Aide

This employee will provide supervision of students in a child care program, Monday through Friday. The employee in this position will be paid on an as-needed basis, NO BENEFITS.

Major responsibilities, partial list:

To provide supervision for students.

To keep accurate records.

To work collaboratively with other staff members

To adapt to flexible situations.

To purchase, maintain, and inventory materials and supplies.

Qualifications, partial list:

Must be highly qualified - possess a 2-year Associates Degree or 2 years of college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.) or passage of state paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test).

Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit.

Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Collaborative and problem-solving skills.

Must have technology skills – ABILITY TO USE A COMPUTER.

Salary: $14.39 per hour, NO BENEFITS.
