eligibility requirements:

background checks: completion and clearance of both fbi & bci checks training: successful completion of 2 days of tipp city evs district-provided training state of ohio (ode) requirements: must hold one of the following: substitute teaching license (1-year or 5-year) pre-service teacher permit (for students currently enrolled in an approved teacher preparation program) apply for license/permit through the oh|m pay all required state application/licensing fees provide proof of high school diploma or higher education (based on eligibility option) present a valid government-issued photo

eligibility options:

• option 1 – age 25+: high school diploma or equivalent required
• option 2 – age 18+: must be currently enrolled in an educator preparation program

district training (required – 2 days): day 1: classroom management & student engagement day 2: professional standards, safety procedures, and curriculum orientation
