MVS is seeking an innovative and culturally inclusive mathematics teacher committed to developing inquisitive, critical thinkers, focused on understanding the ‘why’ behind mathematical principles versus the ‘how’ of following a formula. As a mathematics teacher at MVS, you will primarily teach students in grades 6-8, but could be asked to teach an upper school course. Our mathematics faculty work collaboratively across divisions.

Candidates should feel comfortable teaching; pre algebra, algebra I, and geometry.

• And of course, you will get to Teach! As a middle school mathematics teacher, you will teach four sections of mathematics ranging from middle school pre algebra to upper school geometry, typically all four sections would be with middle school students.
