Classroom Aide (Preschool) - 7 Dours/Day

Location:

Kettering Early Childhood Education Center

General Information:
This position is 7 hours per day and will include benefits. The person in this position will be working with a Pathfinder's teacher.

Major Responsibilities, Partial List:

• To provide support to students.
• To maintain a safe environment.
• To work collaboratively with other staff members.
• To adapt to flexible situations.

Qualifications, Partial List:

• Applicants must be Highly Qualified – Possess a 2 year Associates Degree or 2 years of college credits (48 semester or 72 quarter hrs.) or passage of the state paraprofessional standards exam (PARAPRO Test).
• Current Ohio Teaching License PREFERRED.
• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit required upon employment.
• Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
• Collaborative and problem-solving skills.

Salary:
According to approved salary schedule. (THIS IS A SPREAD PAY POSITION)
