ADF Engineering is looking for a full-time process safety engineer to join our talented team in Dayton, OH. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, enjoys working on diverse projects, and is passionate about consulting engineering and project management.

• Lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHA)
• Lead Dust Hazard Analyses (DHA)
• Create and update OSHA 14 Process Safety Management (PSM) elements and Risk Management Plan (RMP) audits
• Provide oversight for the site Management of Change (MOC) Process
• Provide oversight and conduct Pre-Startup Safety Review (SSR) audits
• Ensure adherence to engineering quality standards and codes of practice.

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Process Design & Safety

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure
• Proficiency with process design, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process equipment such as pumps and heat exchangers.

• Experience in a PSM-regulated industry.
• Knowledge of agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, biofuels, grain milling, pet food, or animal feed industries.
• Knowledge of combustible dust regulations and dust hazard mitigation.
• Prior experience in the consulting engineering industry.
• Experience with ChemCAD, Aspen, or similar process simulation software.
