A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in the Dayton area is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to join its growing industrial projects team.
This organization supports manufacturing and process-industry clients across North America and is known for long-term client partnerships and repeat business. What You’ll Do- Design, analyze, and model structural systems for industrial facilities and equipment support structures
- Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients to solve design challenges
- Support project planning, estimating, and scheduling activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and engineering best practices
- Participate in projects from concept through detailed design and execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years of professional structural engineering experience
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience reviewing and producing engineering drawings and documentation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment
- Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software
- Proficiency with structural modeling and CAD tools
- Background in industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, agribusiness, chemicals, biofuels, pharma, food)
- Experience working directly with clients on multidisciplinary projects
