Structural Engineer; PE - Industrial Projects

A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in the Dayton area is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to join its growing industrial projects team.

This organization supports manufacturing and process-industry clients across North America and is known for long-term client partnerships and repeat business. • Design, analyze, and model structural systems for industrial facilities and equipment support structures
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients to solve design challenges
• Support project planning, estimating, and scheduling activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and engineering best practices
• Participate in projects from concept through detailed design and execution

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• 5+ years of professional structural engineering experience
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience reviewing and producing engineering drawings and documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment

• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software
• Proficiency with structural modeling and CAD tools
• Background in industrial environments (e.g., manufacturing, agribusiness, chemicals, biofuels, pharma, food)
• Experience working directly with clients on multidisciplinary projects
