Radial R&D is a research and development firm specializing in C4
ISR technologies for defense applications. Three-quarters of our technical staff have advanced degrees in Engineering or Mathematics and work together to advance the state-of-the-art in synthetic aperture radar (SAR), synthetic aperture lidar (SAL), air/ground moving target indication (A/GMTI) radar, digital communications, radio navigation, signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare (EW), and other technologies.
Radial R&D is seeking Research Engineers for their Radar and Electronic Warfare portfolio. Research Engineers work within a team environment to develop novel concepts, algorithms, and techniques, model expected performance through modeling & simulation, develop prototype systems, collect data in the field during ground and flight tests, process data, and more.
QualificationsA bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related field is required. Candidates with the following qualities will be preferred:
- Knowledge of common radar modes and data processing techniques
- Experience with radar/EW modeling & simulation
- Knowledge of digital signal processing
- Experience programming in MATLAB, Python, C/C++
- Ability to clearly communicate and work in a team environment.
Positions at senior, mid-level, and entry-level are available. Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
This position is ONSITE in Dayton, OH.
U.S. citizenship is required.
