Dayton, OH area (hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week)
Education & experience — one of the following- MA or MS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program, plus 12 years of relevant technical experience, with at least 5 years in a DoD environment
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a closely related technical field from an ABET-accredited program; advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands‑on experience in software engineering practices, system integration, and software assurance
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross‑functional engineering teams
- Experience supporting Air Force or broader DoD programs
- Knowledge of life cycle systems engineering (LCSE) and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) compliance requirements
- Familiarity with value stream mapping, performance improvement initiatives (e.g., AFSO
21), and technical risk management practices
