We are seeking a Senior Staff / Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize mission‑critical cloud infrastructure services.

This role centers on Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and is responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and high‑performing cloud environments across compute, storage, networking, and platform services deployed at customer site(s). The ideal candidate is a strong systems and cloud engineer with deep experience in Cloud Architecture, Dev Sec Ops , System Administration, and Infrastructure Automation. This person will build and maintain cloud platforms, automate provisioning and operations, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, and ensure cloud environments are resilient, cost‑effective, and aligned to modern engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy, and optimize containerized and cloud‑native services supporting mission systems

* Monitor cloud infrastructure health through metrics, logs, and dashboards to ensure stable and efficient operations

* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across compute, storage, networking, and platform services

* Implement automation, standardization, and cloud engineering best practices to improve operational efficiency

* Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and scaling of cloud infrastructure services

* Maintain and enhance cloud monitoring, logging, and observability solutions

* Provide operational support for cloud platforms, including participating in incident response when necessary

* Collaborate with network, systems, security, and application teams to address cross‑domain infrastructure challenges

* Perform lifecycle management of cloud resources, including deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes

* Apply cloud security best practices and support compliance activities in regulated customer environments

* Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) workflows, and automation supporting IaaS environments

* Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to planning and delivery of cloud engineering initiatives

* Perform other cloud engineering duties as assigned
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

* 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, systems engineering, Dev Ops, or infrastructure operations

* Strong experience administering and engineering solutions on Linux-based systems

* Experience supporting on‑premises, cloud, or hybrid infrastructure environments, with a focus on IaaS platforms

* Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring, logging, observability, and operational tooling

* Strong troubleshooting skills across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and operating system layers

* Experience scripting or automating cloud tasks using Bash, Python, or similar languages

* Familiarity with IaC practices and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Helm

* Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences

* Detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of owning cloud engineering tasks through completion
