Engineer - L2 - Raymond, Ohio on-site

Requires a BS or MS in engineering and the skills and abilities of an Engineer L1. The candidate must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications. Must be able to handle multiple projects, develop analytical procedures, and work with suppliers to ensure appropriate parts/services are requested, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports. Must make technical decisions with moderate supervision, report research and test results in various technical formats, and work either in a team or independently to reach project goals.

• Design and develop chassis components (wheel, brake, fuel, exhaust, etc.)
• Collaborate with other design and test engineers and suppliers to analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Handle multiple projects and work with a team to meet development schedules.
• Proficiency in CATIA V6.
• Fluency in solid and surface modeling.
• Design intent and robust modeling capable of major revision.
• Drawing and GD&T awareness.
• Prefer previous chassis design experience.
• Strong understanding of design for manufacturability.
• Ability to pick up new standards and methodologies.
• Capability to interpret basic CAE results (stiffness, natural frequency, etc.).
• Requires a BS or MS in Engineering.
