Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and interpret industry and customer specifications, as well as quality and processing requirements, integrating them into the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Plan and direct activities to identify root causes and implement resolutions for nonconforming products or processes.
  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products and processes.
  • Support APQP, process control, and PFMEA design for new work and processes.
  • Perform compliance analysis of industry and customer technical specifications and implement systemic changes to achieve compliance as directed.
  • Serve as a point of contact to management for quality problem definition, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Devise sampling procedures when not defined in specifications and design forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Establish and maintain programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of testing, measurement, and analytical equipment, ensuring calibration standards are met.
  • Direct and support workers involved with calibration, lot acceptance, and periodic testing.
  • Compile and write training materials and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
  • Coordinate and develop processes for periodic testing, evaluation, and reporting in accordance with industry, customer, and Nadcap requirements.
  • Develop and maintain QMS documentation to ensure consistent compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap, and ISO 10012 standards.
