Job Description:
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to lead verification and validation activities for advanced electronic sensing systems used in heavy‑duty and off‑highway equipment applications. This role is responsible for ensuring sensor products meet performance, reliability, and quality requirements through comprehensive testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to support product development and successful product releases.
Travel Requirement:
Approximately 10%
Primarily onsite with collaboration across engineering and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute Design Verification Plan & Reports (DVP&R).
- Translate product requirements, risk assessments, and FMEA findings into effective validation strategies.
- Establish test plans, acceptance criteria, and validation coverage to ensure product readiness.
- Identify validation risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Test Execution & Coordination
- Plan and oversee validation activities across simulation, laboratory, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), environmental, durability, and field testing environments.
- Coordinate testing efforts with internal engineering teams and external testing facilities.
- Ensure test readiness, proper documentation, and high-quality execution of validation activities.
- Monitor project progress and address issues impacting validation schedules.
- Evaluation, Reporting & Product Release Support
- Analyze and review test results for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
- Document findings and provide technical recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Support engineering teams in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Contribute to product release decisions based on validation outcomes and performance data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, firmware, systems, and quality engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Align validation plans with program schedules, milestones, and resource availability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance validation processes, efficiency, and consistency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on validation best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting electronic product development and validation activities.
- Understanding of verification and validation methodologies for electronic systems.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering principles and product testing practices.
- Experience utilizing FMEA and risk-based validation approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inertial measurement units (IMUs), MEMS-based sensors, angle sensors, or related sensing technologies.
- Background in reliability, durability, environmental, or performance testing.
- Hands‑on experience with laboratory testing, HIL systems, or field validation activities.
- Experience supporting products used in industrial, automotive, agricultural, construction, or off‑highway equipment applications.
- Familiarity with data acquisition, test automation, and validation reporting tools.
