Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII‑MT), is seeking Junior, Mid‑Level, and Senior Radar Systems Engineers to join our dynamic team supporting advanced radar system development. Junior-level engineers will assist with technical planning, system design, system integration, and verification and validation efforts while working closely with senior engineers and external partners. They will gain hands‑on experience across the full system lifecycle-from concept and design through test and operation-and build foundational skills in translating customer needs into robust hardware and software specifications within a collaborative, agile environment.

Mid‑Level Radar Systems Engineers will contribute more independently to these same technical activities, performing detailed analyses, supporting integration efforts, and helping shape system-level design decisions. They will also mentor junior team members and engage directly with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure technical alignment.

Senior Radar Systems Engineers will lead complex radar engineering efforts, driving system architecture decisions, overseeing integration and test activities, and conducting advanced analyses to inform program direction. They will serve as technical leaders, guiding multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with customers, and ensuring system solutions meet mission requirements and performance objectives.

Across all levels, these roles offer exceptional opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow while supporting cutting‑edge radar engineering initiatives.

This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio and is within a commutable distance from Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton, and Riverside.
