Position: Stuctures Mechanic with Security Clearance
Structural Technician / Sheet metal Mechanic (Levels III & IV)

Job Summary We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Structural Technicians / Sheet metal Mechanics to join our team. These roles involve the assembly, fabrication, repair, and maintenance of major aircraft structures and components. Successful candidates will possess a strong understanding of aerospace blueprints, technical schematics, and precision tooling, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Opportunities are available for both Level III (experienced) and Level IV (advanced) professionals.

Responsibilities Structural Technician Level III As a Structural Technician Level III, you will utilize your expertise to: •
Assemble and/or create major assembly structures and perform minor part-fitting operations, including filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. •
Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures. •
Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. •
Modify incomplete and complete assemblies, incorporating changes into the structure. •
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Structural Technician Level IV As a Structural Technician Level IV, you will leverage advanced skills to: •
Assemble and/or create major assembly structures and perform minor part-fitting operations, including filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming. •
Update job status on our operations database. •
Translate blueprints into fabrications of structural assemblies, including basic layout, precision drilling, countersinking, and the use of calibrated tools. •
Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures. •
Measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. •
Modify incomplete and complete assemblies, incorporating changes into the structure. •
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. •
Perform various maintenance duties and ensure appropriate representation and communications occur between team members, team leads, quality control, and engineering. Required

Skills & Qualifications Must-Haves for Both Levels •
Must have/own tools in good working order. •
Ability to understand and interpret applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications. •
Ability to complete installations per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch. •
Ability to install various fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks. •
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Experience & Education Structural Technician Level III •
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience. •
Progressive experience with structure assembly, minor part fitting techniques, and repair and refinishing such as airframe corrosion removal, as applicable. •
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience; related experience may be considered in lieu of required education. Structural Technician Level IV •
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience. •
Advanced experience with structure assembly, minor part fitting techniques, and repair and refinishing such as airframe corrosion removal, as applicable. •
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience; related experience may be considered in lieu of required education.

Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels •
Ability to travel. •
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, NASA, or US Military. Physical, Mental, and Emotional Requirements •
Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps. •
Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times, including finger and hand dexterity. •
Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors. •
Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes. •
Frequently lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs. Working Conditions •
Frequently exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.). •
Occasionally exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials. •
Frequently exposed to loud noises. •
Safety Sensitive Position:
Responsible for the safety or security of people or property. Inspects structures, equipment or vehicles. Performs aviation related duties. Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment or machinery.
