CFD Research Corporation seeks a senior rotor dynamics finite element engineer to evaluate rotating machinery via modal, harmonic and transient analyses. You will work with the structural, fluid and thermal teams to improve reliability and reduce vibration.
Qualifications include a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years in turbo machinery and proficiency in Abaqus/Solid Works; familiarity with ANSYS/NASTRAN and HPC workflows is a plus. Occasional travel to Hollywood, AL may be required.
