Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. * Responsible for fostering a fun environment.

* Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.

* Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.

* Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the ACES Service Program.

* Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to company policy and T.I.P.S training.

* Promotes gaming events and promotions.

* May have to process cash and credit card transactions for guests while maintaining the integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.

* Maintains a clean and stocked workstation.

* Complies with state, company, and department policies and regulations.

* Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.

* Create and maintain a seating chart at the direction of your supervisor or manager.

* Responsible for ensuring rotation is done correctly.

* Utilize Host Concepts software to ensure fairness and accuracy in seating.

* Utilize the ACES Service Guidelines, seating and offering a warm and friendly farewell.

* Roll silverware and clean during down time.

* Perform opening and closing side work at the direction of your supervisor or manager.

* Help team members ensure guest is served in a timely manner.

* Serve tables, clearing tables, expediting and running food when needed.

* Assist with bussing tables.

* Keeping the restaurant and host stand clean, organized and sanitized.

* Must be able to understand and articulate the menu to guests.

* Will work special events, as needed.

* Other duties, as needed.

* Must be at least 19 years of age

* Must have outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.

* Must understand and the menu.

* Must enjoy hosting others.

* Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.

* Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.

* Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.

* Must be able to work as a team.

* Must be able to tolerate a high stimulus environment.

* Must be able to work a at a very fast pace and walk long distances throughout the shift.

* Must be able to pass a background check.

* Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.

* Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.

* Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.

* Must be comfortable and capable learning new software.
