Position: Parts Sales Representative -Inside

Summary

Parts Sales Representative – Inside assists customers in finding the appropriate parts for their truck both in person and over the phone. Supports customers, mechanics, and peers to locate accessories and order parts for repairs, enhancements, or general vehicle needs. Helps shop by stocking and organizing the showroom floor as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers and offering assistance.
  • Answer the telephone within three rings with a proper greeting and offer assistance with the inquiry.
  • Suggest additional products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer’s needs.
  • Follow prescribed cash, credit, and check processing procedures while working the parts counter.
  • Process core warranties.
  • Follow up on shortages and expedite by reporting to Parts Manager.
  • Be knowledgeable about product merchandising.
  • Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency.
  • Provide service technicians with parts as required.
  • Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to meet or exceed dealership standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Parts Manager.
