Our client is a leading organization in the consumer packaged goods manufacturing industry, serving customers across both domestic and international markets. Known for their strong focus on innovation and commitment to customer satisfaction, they are seeking a talented and experienced Controller to join their dynamic and growing team.
As the Controller, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing the financial performance of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic financial guidance and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Develop and implement financial controls and processes to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Lead the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, preferably in the consumer goods or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficient in using financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
