Venteon Finance is currently seeking CONTROLLER for a long-time manufacturing client in the Dayton, OH area.
Requirements of the Plant Controller role- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 - 10+ years of manufacturing industry experience
- Strong understanding of Standard and Actual Cost
- Budgeting and Forecasting experience
- ERP System experience
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department
- Produce timely and accurate financial statements and reports
- Preparation of local management financial reporting
- Analyze variances from budget and/or forecast
- Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations
- Establish and routinely analyze costs of inventory
- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
