Serves as the Relationship Manager and Financial Advisor to clients, introducing a full range of core banking products, differentiated capabilities and comprehensive solutions to meet client needs and exceed customer service expectations. This role focuses on acquiring new relationships as well as managing and growing existing relationships.
Responsibilities- Serve as the Trusted Financial Advisor and Business Partner to clients, functioning as the Commercial Banking client "expert" and primary contact for most client-related matters.
- Drive focused growth and business development by creating and maintaining a clear, holistic understanding of the client's or prospect's business/industry; analyze data and relevant client business and industry.
- Provide and educate the client on Key’s capabilities and knowledge in key product areas (cash management, derivatives, equipment finance, etc.).
- Maintain an active prospecting effort, including identification, qualification and calling; develop an active Center of Influence (COI) referral network.
- Assemble cross-functional team to respond quickly to customer requests when not able to address requests personally; bring in experts and identify cross-sell opportunities.
- Improve functional/technical sales and credit expertise continuously and transfer this knowledge to team members; partner effectively with Credit Officers as the first level sponsor for credit decisions.
- Lead and participate in credit processes and assume ultimate accountability for all portfolio activities/issues, ensuring sound asset quality, including underwriting, structuring and portfolio management activities; direct the preparation of all Asset Quality Reports and new Risk Rating models to assure accurate risk assessment of assigned portfolio.
- Comply with all Key Bank policies and procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years established business development skills.
Experience QualificationsExtensive knowledge of bank products. Proven outstanding credit skills, analytical skills and financial acumen (required).

Physical DemandsGeneral Office—Prolonged sitting; ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients; frequent use of PC/laptop; occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs. Travel—Occasional travel to include overnight stay. Driving Requirements—May need to drive to multiple locations in a single day; ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license required.
Compensationand Benefits
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $ - $ annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based on skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation also includes eligibility for incentive compensation, which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
