Associate Director, Financial Aid Operations

University of Dayton is hiring an Associate Director, Financial Aid Operations. The role involves leading staff training, maintaining financial aid training materials, and managing key financial aid operations to ensure timely and accurate awarding of aid to students. The Associate Director drives process improvements, collaborates across departments, and supports seamless financial aid services with a focus on compliance and student-centered solutions.

• Lead staff training and maintain financial aid training materials
• Manage day-to-day financial aid operations including packaging, loan and grant processing, and communications
• Collaborate with Enrollment Management Communication Center and University IT for process automation and improvements
• Oversee Federal Work Study reconciliation, Federal Direct Loan, and grant programs
• Require knowledge of student financial aid laws, regulations, compliance, and audit concepts
• Preferred experience with Ellucian Banner, Cognos, HTML, Automic, and Salesforce CRM
• Bachelor’s degree or five years of financial aid experience with progressive responsibilities required;
  Master’s preferred
• At least 3 years of professional financial aid experience, including direct financial aid service roles
• Experience in leadership and managing multiple projects simultaneously; supervisory skills preferred
