Full-time / Days; 80 hours per pay.

Clinical staff at Premier Physician Network provide general clinical and procedural patient care under the direction of center physicians and/or providers. A minimum patient base of 1,000 to 3,000 patients is served, with an average of 20–50 patients seen each day.

• Assist providers with patient care, including order entry, reporting, phone calls, clerical, and organizational tasks.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests, ear irrigations, ultrasound therapy, muscle stimulation, hot/cold packs, and EKGs.
• Manage breathing treatments, x-rays, lab testing, Holter monitoring, dressing changes, wound cleaning, and hearing and vision tests.
• Assist provider/s with surgical and medical procedures such as minor wound repair and foreign body removals.

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Medical Assistant applicants must have successfully completed an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or obtained certification through a recognized certifying organization.
• Licensed Practical Nurse applicants must have completed a practical nursing and pharmacology program and maintain current state licensure with CNE requirements.
• Prior experience in an ambulatory health care facility is preferred.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self‑motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service.
• CPR certification within the first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD‑10 and CPT coding.
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
