BLS, ACLS, NIH, EKG tele competency assessment required
Must-Have:
EPIC experience
Experience with stable chronic ventilators
IV Start preferred
Experience in Trauma Level I or II preferred
Travel experience preferred
Available to work every other weekend/holiday
Description:
Targeted patient ratios are 1:4 but can be up to 1:5-6.
Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
Nurses will be fitted for N95 before working on designated unit unless alternative protection is needed.
Travelers will float to other units or campuses as assigned.
Assignments may include general assistance to the nursing care team.
Facility reserves the right to cancel shifts due to low census with prior notice.
Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.
Requests for time off must be submitted initially; no additional requests will be added later.
Lab work must be completed in a timely manner.
EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed as per requirements.
Modules may be billable and should be reported to management.
Unit is fast-paced with physical demands.
Patients may require physical assistance for mobility and care.
Broad skill set is necessary to handle multi-system problems.
Special equipment used includes trach/vent devices and orthopedic splints.
Interdisciplinary support includes various therapy and clinical services.
Desired experience includes trauma care and management of ventilated patients.
No past license actions accepted.
