  Up to $1,080 weekly / $27 per hour
• Travel:
  Up to $1,243 weekly / $31.08 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical services by ensuring that all instruments and equipment are properly decontaminated, sterilized, and prepared for use. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, skilled in sterilization procedures, and knowledgeable in infection control standards.

• Disassemble, clean, and disinfect instruments and equipment using manual and mechanical processes.
• Operate decontamination equipment (sonic washer, cart washers, washer sterilizers, decontaminators).
• Retrieve, transport, and restock reusable instruments and equipment throughout the facility.
• Assemble instrument trays and packs following written instructions and protocols.
• Inspect instruments for sharpness, cleanliness, and functionality.
• Apply sterilization wrappers, seal packs, and ensure accurate labeling.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment (steam, Sterrad, etc.) with correct cycle selection.
• Accurately document sterilization processes and biological monitoring per policy.
• Maintain sterile storage area, ensuring proper rotation and handling of instruments.
• Pull surgical case supplies from computer-generated preference lists.
• Follow universal precautions and maintain cleanliness of the work area.

• Minimum 2 years of central service/sterile processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization methods and equipment operation.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required.
