Clinical Dietitian 1st Shift

Job Title:

Clinical Dietitian – Dayton Children’s - Main Campus

The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs; develops and implements nutritional care plans; evaluates and reports these results appropriately. Participates in on‑going education programs for hospital staff and the community; participates as an integral part of the nutrition care team in assigned and covered areas; coordinates activities with the needs of the department’s management team; shares on‑call responsibilities on a rotating weekly basis during non‑scheduled working hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.

Experience:

Experienced candidates may be eligible to be hired as a clinical dietitian II or dietitian III. May hire a new graduate with an expectation to pass the RDN exam within 6 months of hire; failure to pass within 6 months will result in termination or movement to an alternate role within the department until the RDN exam is passed.
