Patient Care Assistant – Sleep Clinic

Responsibilities

• Assisting the nurse in completion of patient care activities
• Demonstrating strong communication skills and accepting delegated tasks
• Measuring and recording vital signs, intake, and output
• Assisting patients with activities of daily living
• Providing safe transportation and environment for patients
• Supporting both clinical and clerical sides of the business

• HSD/GED is required
• PCA training or PCA experience or actively enrolled in a health care related education program is required
• 1-2 years STNA experience in hospital setting is preferred
• CPR is preferred at hire, but must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date
