Manager - Respiratory Care Nicu

The Neonatal ICU Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for respiratory care activities within the neonatal intensive care unit. He/she supports the direction and new program development of the Respiratory Care Department and of the NICU unit through participating and leading growth and change. He/she assures operational and fiscal accountabilities are met. Staff development is a key responsibility.

• Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license, Valid Registered Respiratory credential through the NBRC.
• Current CPR certification - preferred
• Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license, Valid Registered Respiratory credential through NBRC.
• Current CPR Certification - preferred
• NPR Certification - preferred
• Neonatal and Pediatric Specialty Certification - preferred

Minimum Level of Experience

Required:

Prior job title or occupational experience: RTT in a neonatal critical care level III NICURTT in a neonatal critical care Level III NICU

Prior specific functional responsibilities:
Neonatal critical level III NICU responsibilities including ventilator management.

Preferred experience:

Neonatal intubation

Other experience requirements:
Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement initiatives. Interdisciplinary care activities.
