Kids Thrive is hiring a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist / Child Therapist to join our Pediatric Mental Health Program serving children ages 3–10 .
If you're a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Independent Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who wants to make a lasting impact in the lives of children, we'd love to meet you!
Salary: $55,000–$65,000/year
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

As a Mental Health Therapist , you'll provide therapeutic services to children experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a safe, nurturing environment where children can develop emotional regulation, social skills, healthy relationships, and positive behaviors.
What You'll Do- Provide individual and family therapy to children ages 3–10.
- Co-lead therapeutic day treatment groups .
- Complete clinical intakes, diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Conduct family interviews and connect families with appropriate resources.
- Provide crisis intervention when needed.
- Participate in treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with counselors, social workers, facilitators, and other behavioral health professionals.
- Help children build the skills they need to succeed at home, school, and in life .
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health Counseling , or a related field.
- Current Ohio licensure as an LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC .
- Experience working with children and families is preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and child-centered approach.
