Description

The Marriott at the University of Dayton is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor. Compensation: $16.00 to $19.20 per hour. The front desk supervisor leads a team to deliver excellent guest service while maintaining brand and Concord standards. The role emphasizes proactive, responsive, and Caring guest interactions and strong leadership to ensure a cohesive team and a positive guest experience.

Role highlights include engaging with guests, leading a team, maintaining high standards, and contributing to a positive company culture where supervisors may advance to higher roles over time.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and courteously.
  • Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
  • Develop knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
  • Take reservation requests efficiently.
  • Answer switchboard in accordance with proper telephone etiquette.
  • Block rooms and handle special requests.
  • Monitor room availability and assist with yield management and restrictions in collaboration with AGM/GM.
  • Handle guest safe deposits per established procedures.
  • Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency and security procedures.

Must have a clean driving record.
