Manufacturing Recruiter

We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Recruiter / Engineering Recruiter to join a very well-established, growing precision manufacturer operating across Aerospace and Precision Machining technology markets with facilities throughout Connecticut, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Colorado, and North Carolina. This position is a unique opportunity to recruit across a diverse range of high precision manufacturing verticals and work with a team that values strong interpersonal communication and process excellence.

You'll be instrumental in building talent pipelines for a company strategically expanding across some of the most exciting manufacturing production markets today.

• Full lifecycle recruiting on a range of 20-30 active requisitions across national site locations
• Execute full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and engineering roles across all facilities
• Manage the complete hiring process from job posting and candidate sourcing through offer, background checks, and onboarding
• Set up interviews, coordinate scheduling, and manage candidate logistics
• Conduct administrative setup in timekeeping and HR systems for new hires
• Push back on hiring managers to ensure streamlined, efficient recruitment processes
• Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with hiring managers, plant leadership, and internal teams
• Visit manufacturing facilities to understand operations and support recruitment efforts
• Represent the company at career fairs and industry recruiting events (approximately 10% travel)
• Track and optimize key recruiting metrics: cost per hire, time to fill, and employee retention
• Manage the onboarding and orientation process for new employees

• Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing recruiting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences
• Proven ability to manage 20-30 requisitions simultaneously
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing floor, production, and engineering roles
• Confidence to push back on hiring managers while maintaining positive relationships
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work in-person at least 3 days per week in Dayton, Ohio (4-5 days preferred; 5 days during training period)
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% for facility visits and career fairs
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting (sourcing through onboarding)
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software
• Fast paced, high output mentality with strong work ethic and drive to succeed
• Agency recruiting background preferred, but not required
• Annual Performance Bonus: 5%
