Lavender Home Care Solutions is a growing, mission-driven home care company focused on building
meaningful relationships with both our clients and our caregivers. As we continue to expand, we are
creating a leadership role dedicated to strengthening the caregiver experience from the first interview
through long-term success with our team.
What This Role IsThis is not a traditional HR desk job. You will lead the caregiver hiring, onboarding, and early
employment experience, ensuring every new team member is prepared, supported, compliant, and set
up for success before entering the field. You will work closely with leadership, scheduling, and
operations to keep our hiring engine strong while maintaining high standards for compliance and
Who This Role Is ForThis role is for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people and building rapport while respecting
structure and process. You are confident in your judgment, comfortable making decisions, and able to
move people forward without hesitation. You like clear systems but are not afraid to use your gut when
situations require it. You are not looking for a traditional HR role. Instead, you enjoy being close to the
work — meeting caregivers face‑to‑face, guiding them through onboarding, and ensuring details are
handled correctly and on time.
What You’ll Do- Conduct face‑to‑face caregiver interviews and evaluate candidates for reliability and cultural fit
- Run new hire orientations and guide caregivers through onboarding
- Ensure caregivers leave orientation with a clear path to their first scheduled shift
- Support early employment check‑ins to improve retention and engagement
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready caregiver files
- File and track background checks and employment verification documents
- Determine waiver eligibility and maintain GCCOA and waiver compliance
- Prepare caregiver files for internal and state audits
- Draft caregiver evaluation letters, reviews, and termination letters when needed
- Track caregiver experience using internal systems and workflows
- Monitor continuing education and training requirements
- Coordinate timelines with leadership, scheduling, and HR support tasks
- Attend management meetings to share hiring insights and recommend improvements
- Caregivers leave orientation prepared, confident, and connected to upcoming shifts
- Files remain compliant and audit‑ready at all times
- Hiring keeps pace with company growth
- New caregivers feel supported during their first 90 days
- Highly organized with strong time management and deadline awareness
- Enjoy talking with people and building trust quickly
- Comfortable making decisions and following structured processes
- Confident communicator with strong follow‑through
- Systems‑minded and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in recruiting, staffing, onboarding, or healthcare administration preferred
- Prefer meaningful, structured work over corporate HR environments
- Like helping people succeed while keeping processes moving
- Stay organized without needing constant oversight
- Balance strong intuition with clear procedures
- Prefer strictly policy‑based HR work
- Avoid making decisions without multiple layers of approval
- Prefer theoretical planning over practical execution
