Tester - Hybrid, OH

Currently Remote but may transition to Hybrid

Candidates local to Columbus, OH preferred

Travel is required to attend meetings.

• Minimum of four (4) years experience serving as a system test lead for a large complex application
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience testing, including test planning, development (test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios), and execution for large, complex multi-platform applications.
• Minimum of six (6) years experience using HP/Microfocus Test Tools (i.e., ALM/ALM Octane, UI Path, Rational Performance Tester)
• Minimum of four (4) years experience with office automation and project planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office suite.
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience with database query tools and SQL (e.g., Toad, AQT)
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience performing system testing of large, complex applications
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Agile methodology/testing
• Minimum of one (1) year experience using Azure Dev Ops
• Minimum of three (3) years experience analyzing and executing batch processing jobs
• Minimum of one (1) year experience testing web services using SOAP/REST
• Minimum of one (1) year experience using GIT, Nexus, Jenkins for Continuous Testing
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Mobile Testing (iOS, Android)
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Security Testing

Additional Skills:

• Experience in Mobile Emulator Testing

Education:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Typical Duties/Abilities:

• Lead system testing for major applications; define, plan, design, and execute tests; prepare and manage reports for management
• Review system design and documentation to develop test estimates, plans, and scenarios
• Develop and maintain traceability matrices, test plans, scenarios, and scripts
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and support issue resolution
• Develop automated test scripts and execute them
• Manage system test data and document test results
• Track, report, and validate defects; communicate with team for resolutions
• Prepare formal test estimates and deliver presentations on testing status
• Communicate effectively with team and management
• Participate in project/scrum meetings and product demos
• Work in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
• At least four (4) years as a system test lead for large Java applications
• Seven (7) years testing experience, including test planning, development, and execution for large applications, with experience in HP/Microfocus tools and Rational Performance Tester
• Four (4) years experience with office automation and project tools
• Seven (7) years experience with database query tools and SQL
• One (1) year experience in Agile testing
• Experience with JIRA, GIT, Nexus, Jenkins, Mobile Testing, and Security Testing
