SeniorNetwork Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Network Engineer to support the design, configuration, and management of enterprise network infrastructure in a dynamic and diverse environment.

This individual will play a key role in ensuring the network is highly available, secure, and scalable while providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for internal users and collaborating with external vendors.

Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are essential to succeed in this role.

• Design, analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Work directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to maintain network uptime and performance.
• Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure cloud and on-premise networks are architecturally sound and highly available.
• Research emerging technologies to provide innovative and effective solutions.
• Install and configure network hardware and cabling in data centers and corporate locations.
• Perform network upgrades and changes with minimal business disruption.
• Conduct regular maintenance including applying patches, updates, and service packs.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps in a knowledge base.
• Monitor network performance and execute capacity planning for LAN, WLAN, MAN, and WAN.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents during off-hours as required.
• Perform other network-related duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask and provide real-time support while managing other tasks.

• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management abilities.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and available to work nights or weekends as needed.

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise networks (e.g., Cisco, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network design, migration, and connectivity planning.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, STP, HSRP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with performance monitoring and capacity planning in large-scale networks.

• Industry certifications strongly preferred, such as:
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP)
