What Makes This Role Great:In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our service operations, directly ensuring our customers have the reliable tools they need to build and move the world around us. You will have the opportunity to master a wide range of Trimble hardware products such as:
Trimble Total Stations, Trimble GPS and Trimble's Sensor Technology.
- Learn how to fix and take care of high-tech Trimble products.
- You will manage the whole repair process. This includes finding out what is wrong with electrical and mechanical parts and keeping notes on every piece you use.
- Contribute to the team's success by ensuring all repairs are durable and reliable.
- Collaborate with team members in a dynamic workshop environment.
Skills & Experience:
- 1-2 years of work experience diagnosing and repairing technology such as: electronics, computer hardware, network hardware, field service equipment and devices, HVAC systems, electrical Units, manufacturing machines, warehouse hardware, datacenter hardware/electrical, servers, total stations, GPS, radio receivers or similar technical equipment.
- Understand how electronics work and know how to use tools to test them.
- You have a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing electromechanical devices.
- You are a strong communicator and able to follow detailed service guidelines.
- You are a self-motivated "doer" who excels at working with limited supervision.
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a service technician environment.
- 2 year certification from a vocational, college, apprenticeship, or training program.
- Advanced knowledge of precision positioning hardware.

Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
Hiring Range $17.55-$23.27
